About
I’m Monty, founder of MTU Projects. I’ve been teaching myself digital marketing since 2017, and I’ve advised people on social media and digital marketing. Now I’m doing it properly, for Leeds and Yorkshire businesses.
I started MTU Projects to properly learn an area of business I'd always been interested in — marketing and advertising. Most people starting a business skip that side entirely; they just want the results without understanding how they're achieved. I wanted to make it cheaper, easier to understand, and genuinely useful to the businesses I work with.
That's especially true of websites. I tell people constantly that a website is their shopfront — the same as the old model of opening a shop on the high street — and unlike social media, it's a piece of real estate you actually own. Plenty of businesses run entirely off social media, but the moment that account goes down or gets banned, the business is gone with it. A website doesn't disappear because a platform changes its mind.
"My goal's simple: learn as much as I can about your business, show you what could be enhanced, fixed or added, do as much of that work as I can, then explain it back to you in plain English so you understand what's been done — and get real value out of it." — Monty, FounderGet in touch
Four core services, done properly, instead of ten done half-heartedly.
Design
A modern, responsive website that builds trust fast and turns visitors into enquiries — not just a digital brochure.
Convert
Purpose-built pages for ad campaigns, promotions, and lead generation — designed around one goal: turning clicks into enquiries.
Local SEO
Getting your business found in local Google searches and on Maps, so nearby customers find you before they find your competitors.
Automate
Handling enquiries, bookings, and routine customer communication automatically, so nothing sits waiting and you get your time back.
We also handle the supporting work — hosting, maintenance, and domain management — as part of delivery, not as headline services in their own right.
Deposit to start, fixed price for the project, no twelve-week "discovery" phase.
Scope
A deposit secures the work and protects both sides if plans change. The project itself is a fixed price for the agreed scope — no hourly billing, no surprise invoices.
Reporting
No dashboards full of vanity metrics. You'll know what changed, why, and what it did to your numbers.
Ownership
Once your project has been completed and paid for in full, ownership of the website, your data, and your automations transfers to you outright. Want it managed ongoing? That's a retainer. Otherwise it's pay-as-you-go whenever something needs fixing or updating.
